Pakistan’s latest escalation follows just hours after both parties declared they had agreed to conduct military operations on land, in the air, and at sea.
Pakistan broke the ceasefire at several points along the Line of Control on Saturday, just hours after both sides decided to stop military operations.
According to sources cited by News18, the Pakistani army broke the ceasefire in the Mendhar area of Poonch, Rajouri, and the Akhnoor sector of Jammu.
In Udhampur, Pakistan also fired drones, but India’s air defense systems were able to effectively intercept them. Additionally, drones were observed in Fazilka, Punjab.
During Udhampur’s blackout, red light streaks were visible flashing in the sky.
As a precaution, blackouts have also been imposed on other cities, including Srinagar, Pathankot, Barmer, Ferozepur, and Jaisalmer. Vaishno Devi was also subject to blackout.

The DGMOs of both sides held negotiations at 3:35 p.m. today and agreed to take military action, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told a media briefing. On May 12, the next round of talks is planned.
