May 4, New Delhi It is his duty to collaborate with the military and provide a “befitting reply” to the allegations, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Sunday.
In the wake of the recent Pahalgam terror assault, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh promised the public that India will respond strongly and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lead the country to achieve its goals.
Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, added that it is his duty to cooperate with the armed forces and provide a “befitting reply” to those who bring bad luck to India.
Speaking at a gathering in Delhi, Rajnath Singh claimed that people are well acquainted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work ethic, tenacity, and how he has learned to “take risks” throughout his life. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s diligence and tenacity are well known to you all… You know how effective and determined he is. You know how he’s learned to take chances in his life. Under PM Modi’s leadership, I want to reassure you that “jaisa aap chahte hain waisa hokar rahega.”
“As a nation, our courageous soldiers have always protected the physical form of India, while on the other hand, our sages and wise men have protected the spiritual form of India,” continued Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The ‘Jeevanbhoomi’ is where our saints fight, whereas the ‘Rannbhoomi’ is where our troops fight. It is my duty as defense minister to make sure that my troops and the nation’s borders are secure. It is my duty to respond appropriately to anybody who would dare to attack our nation. You are all aware of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s diligence and tenacity.
Rajnath Singh made this claim as India considers taking punitive action against Pakistan due to cross-border connections to the Pahalgam terror assault on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 persons, the majority of whom were tourists. It is my duty as the defense minister to coordinate with my troops and make sure the nation’s borders are guarded. And it is my duty to respond appropriately to those who have cast a negative light on our nation by collaborating with the military,” Singh stated.
On April 22, terrorists carried out a heinous attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing up to 26 people.
“The time has come to eliminate the remaining strongholds of terrorism, and the willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the backbone of the perpetrators of terror,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the nation, adding that the terrorists who carried out this attack and those who planned it would receive punishment beyond their wildest expectations.
