The 6.5-inch, 10-bit pOLED display on the Moto G84 has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It has a leather finish in the Viva Magenta and Marshmallow Blue colors. Although it will eventually receive Android 14, the Moto G84 ships with Android 13.
With the release of the new Moto G84 5G, Motorola has updated its low-cost Moto G-series. The phone is especially designed for youthful customers, mainly college students, who require a respectable camera system, quick charging, and trendy styling. It costs less than Rs. 20,000. The Moto G84 from the company’s G-series portfolio is the first smartphone with a Pantone color edition. A 50-megapixel camera with OIS, 256GB of storage, and 30W charging capabilities are among its primary features. A 33-watt charger is also included in the package.
Display: The Moto G84’s 6.5-inch, 10-bit pOLED screen boasts a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The monitor supports the full DCI-P3 color gamut. Comparable to the AMOLED panel found in many smartphones in this price range is the sub-Rs 30K-segment pOLED screen. Although the composition does change slightly, most people won’t be able to identify the difference by looking at it.
Battery: The Moto G84 is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 695 SoC.
Camera: A 50-megapixel OIS camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera are both mounted on the back of the device. The additional macro or depth cameras that many phones in this price range have are not present on the back of this phone. Instead, macro pictures can be taken using the backup camera. A 16-megapixel camera is available for selfies.
Additional information: Motorola is proud of its software in addition to its hardware. The Moto G84 ships with Android 13, while it will ultimately receive Android 14. Motorola hasn’t released as many software changes as its rivals have, on average. The Moto G84 contains a number of branded features and programs in addition to Moto Connect. The Moto G84’s Dolby Atmos speakers can play Moto Spatial audio. A 3D sound effect is offered for the latter.
Price and Color : The Moto G84 5G is available for Rs 19,999 with a single storage (256GB + 12GB RAM) option. Customers lower the cost to Rs 18,999 via bank or exchange discounts. In addition, Motorola and Jio have a collaboration that offers benefits worth up to Rs 5,000 (applicable on the pre-paid plan for Rs 399). The Marshmallow Blue and Viva Magenta options have a leather finish, while the Midnight Blue option is constructed of a PMMA material that resembles glass.
