This week saw the release of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G smartphone in India, making it one of the few mid-range devices on the market that aims to alter performance dynamics. Here are six considerations to make before purchasing this smartphone.
In India, the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G has been introduced. The gadget has now been added to the Z7 portfolio, which also includes the earlier this year released iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7s in the country. The standard model includes a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W wired Flash Charge capability, while the s-model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor with a similar charging capacity. The Pro model, which was just released, has a lot of advantages over earlier cellphones. The device is offered in two storage layouts and two color options.
Amazing display: The 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED screen on the iQOOZ7 Pro boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits.
Faster OS and processor: The phone is powered by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage. Android-based FuntouchOS 13 is preloaded.
Camera: A 64 MP sensor with OIS and a 2 MP depth sensor are included in the phone’s dual rear camera system. For selfies, the phone’s front features a 16MP camera.
Battery: The iiQOO Z7 Pro’s 4,600mAh battery supports 66W wired fast charging.
Other features: include a security in-display fingerprint sensor on the phone. The phone also contains an accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, proximity sensor, and sensors for ambient light. For water and dust protection, it has an IP52 rating. The gadget also supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C connections.
The phone weighs 175 grams and is 164.10mm by 74.80mm by 7.36mm.
Price and color options: The 8GB + 128GB version of the iQOO Z7 Pro costs Rs. 23,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs. 24,999. It is available in Blue Lagoon and Graphite Matte color options.
The effective pricing for the two models is Rs. 21,999 and Rs. 22,999, respectively, with additional discounts and bank incentives of up to Rs. 2,000. The phone will go on sale on September 5 at 12 IST. It will be available for purchase on both Amazon and the official iQOO website.
