The smartphone company said on Monday that the Vivo Y56 5G will now be offered in a new 4GB RAM and 128GB storage edition for a price of Rs. 16,999.
In India, the Vivo Y56 5G was introduced earlier this year. The smartphone debuted with a base price of Rs. 19,999 and a single storage option. The Vivo Y56 5G now comes in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variants, both of which are slightly less expensive than the previously released 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The smartphone is powered by Funtouch OS 13 for Android 13. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W rapid charging capability.

The two color options for the new variation are Black Engine and Orange Shimmer. The new Vivo Y56 5G configuration variant is available for purchase on the Vivo India website as well as from Flipkart and Amazon, two online retailers. The smartphone’s 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option were initially priced at Rs. 19,999; however, that price was later reduced to Rs. 18,999.
The smartphone’s latest version has the same specs as its prior version. Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13, powers it. A 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixel) LCD screen is present on the device. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC drives the Vivo Y56 5G.
It has two rear cameras, one with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 aperture and a second with an f/2.4 aperture. It has a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
A 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging powers the device. The smartphone weighs 184 grams and has dimensions of 164.05×75.60×8.15mm. For biometric authentication, the Vivo Y56 5G contains a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port are all supported for communication.
