iQOO 12 To Launch On November 7 With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset; Debut In India Soon

It is known that the iQOO 12 will debut in India. The company’s CEO, Nipun Marya, tweeted the news and announced that the new iQOO flagship phone would soon be accessible in the country. He didn’t give us a particular launch date, but we know it’s coming and might happen this year. The iQOO 12 will go on sale in China on November 7. A few weeks from now, it’s expected to launch on the Indian market.

As you may remember, the company unveiled the iQOO 11 smartphone in China in the first week of December of the year prior. Early January saw the device arrive in India after a month. It is therefore expected that the iQOO 12 will do the same. Although this 5G phone is being released in China in November, it might not make its India debut until December. But because iQOO has started to tease the product, it’s likely that it will soon reveal the launch date. This hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Marya not only announced the arrival and confirmed the existence of the iQOO 12, but she also confirmed one crucial detail. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to power many of the top 2024 phones.

He said that the iQOO 12 would be the first phone in India to provide this processor to consumers for its powerful performance. This suggests that the company will not be delaying the release of the iQOO 12 and that it will try to reach India soon after its launch in China.

The company has not yet disclosed the remaining details to the public. Still, the leaks have given us a good idea of what to expect in terms of the smartphone’s features.

The leaks suggest that the iQOO 12 will come with an AMOLED display that has a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The upcoming iQOO phone is rumored to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor as well, allowing users to unlock the device even with moist or damp palms. A 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H sensor, a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with the ISOCELL JN1 sensor, and a 64-megapixel sensor serving as the third camera are anticipated to be included in a triple rear camera system. There would be a 3X optical zoom on the third camera. A 5,000mAh battery and support for 200W rapid charging were also shown under the hood.
