On November 7, the iQOO 12 series is expected to go live worldwide. The iQOO 11 series will be replaced with an iQOO 12 Pro model and a basic iQOO 12 in the lineup. The vanilla model will be available for purchase in India on December 12. The company has confirmed the new phones’ design, CPU, and display characteristics. Leaks and reports on further smartphone features have also appeared. At this moment, iQOO has confirmed a few more crucial phone specifications.
On Weibo, iQOO revealed some significant details regarding the upcoming iQOO 12 Pro model. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm will be utilized in both phones, as was previously disclosed.
The company has revealed that the top-of-the-line model will come with up to 1TB of integrated UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The basic and pro versions will also come with IP68 dust and splash-resistant ratings.
The iQoo 12 Pro will include a Samsung E7 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 2K resolution. According to reports, the phone has an in-built Q1 gaming chip that can run games like Genshin Impact, PUBG Mobile, League of Legends Mobile, and PUBG New State.
According to iQOO, the vapor chamber area of the iQOO 12 series phones is more than 40% larger than that of the iQOO 11 series phones. They further state that the 6K ultra-large vapor chamber area and four-zone heat dissipation architecture are features of the device. The largest ultra-wide vibration motor in the brand’s history will be part of this series. Additionally, the phones will include twin symmetric three-dimensional speakers, which are supposed to enhance the gameplay.
Thus far, the iQOO 12 models’ teasers have revealed a rounded-edged, rectangular back camera module. The AG glass-back White Legend Edition and Black Track Edition variants of the iQOO 12 series will be offered, along with a red color option with a leather-like touch resembling lychee.
