Android 14-Based OneUI 6.0

The Samsung Developer Conference 2023 (SDC23) was recently launched by Samsung, and several important announcements were made. The most important one is the debut of One UI 6, the most recent version of the operating system that powers its phones. Samsung has now formally announced the latest update of the software, revealing some details about what we may anticipate, even though the beta version of the program has already been released.

Based on Android 14, One UI 6 prioritizes usability enhancements and introduces intelligent photo and video editing features. One UI Sans, a new typeface, and an updated Quick panel and app interface are among the new improvements. AI tools like Photo Remaster and Object Eraser are now available in the Gallery app. The Samsung Studio multi-layer video editor, which enables users to include text, stickers, and music to a movie timeline, is another new feature.

With a pop-up window, you can multitask while enjoying free positioning for the lock screen clock and simpler app icon labels. While the camera has more alignment settings, filters, and effects, the weather app includes a new widget and an interactive map view.
A smarter Airplane mode, recommendations in the My Files app, and enhancements to Calendar, Reminder, and Samsung Internet round out the list of updates. Additionally, you can personalize the Bixby SMS call greetings and the Auto Blocker adds an additional layer of security. New choices for cursor thickness and magnification are further accessibility features.

The One UI 6 beta program has been made available by Samsung for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Previously, it was only accessible with S-series flagships and was based on Android 14. Open the Samsung Members app, and then look for a banner at the top to enroll.
