According to reports, the Vivo X100 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC has appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench.
It is anticipated that the Vivo X100 series, which includes the Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+, will soon become official. Although Vivo has not yet announced the release date of the new X series phones, the Vivo X100, model number V2309A, has been seen on the AnTuTu benchmarking site. According to the listing, the Vivo X100 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, which has not yet been revealed. Furthermore, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC-powered putative Vivo X100 Pro has reportedly surfaced on the benchmarking website Geekbench.
The model number V2309A of a Vivo phone is displayed in the AnTuTu listing. Notably, earlier this month, one of the model numbers from China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) website was discovered. The listing, which appears to be for a Vivo X100, shows 2,249,858 as the total benchmark score. A CPU score of 58,632 points and a GPU score of 9,18,790 points make up the total points. The new model gets a UX score of 3,38,400 and a MEM (memory) value of 4,74,036.
The Vivo X100 is listed in the database as having the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM. It further emphasizes that the phone comes pre-installed with 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and Android 14.
Additionally, a smartphone bearing the model number V2324A from Vivo has been detected on Geekbench. The listing suggests that the gadget is running Android 14, which is thought to be the Vivo X100 Pro operating system. According to the benchmark listing that MySmartPrice was able to get, the phone will be powered by an octa-core processor known as “taro.” Three cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.50GHz, four cores with a maximum speed of 1.79GHz, and a prime CPU core with a maximum clock speed of 3.00GHz are displayed. These CPU speeds suggest that the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro will include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
In single-core testing, the listing displays 984 points, and in multi-core testing, 3,293 points. The Vivo X100 Pro may have 11GB of RAM, which translates to 12GB on paper, according to the listing. October 12 is the date on the listing.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC on the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro was alluded to in earlier rumors. Given how outdated Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is, Vivo may include the newest processor in its next flagship device. The Vivo X100 series’ development has not yet been confirmed by Vivo. As a result, it is advised to treat all of these facts cautiously.
