According to WhatsApp, a new native app has been released for Mac today. Users of the software will be able to have audio calls with up to 32 individuals and video chats with up to eight people.
On his Facebook page, Mark Zuckerberg published information on the app’s debut.
You can complete more tasks more quickly when using WhatsApp on a wide screen thanks to the app’s updated, familiar interface for Mac users. You can now quickly drag and drop files into a chat and share them, and you can examine more of your chat history, the business said in a blog post.
For some time now, WhatsApp has been testing its Mac-native app. The app was initially made available in public beta by the business earlier this year, enabling users to test it out on devices running Apple Silicon and macOS 11 Big Sur or later.
