There may be announcements on earbuds and a smartwatch.
Beginning in August, Carl Pei made the announcement that CMF by Nothing, a subsidiary of Company, will debut. You shouldn’t anticipate this sub-brand to release flagship-level products like the Nothing Phone 2 because it is budget-oriented, unlike Nothing. We now know that the sub-brand’s initial products will be released later this month.
Manu Sharma, vice president and general manager of Nothing India, declared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that CMF by company will host a launch event on September 26, 2023. Sharma only discloses the date and no other details regarding the incident. Company in the announcement from India’s VP suggests that the exhibition would take place in India, and the products might only be available there.
We already have a solid sense of what will be disclosed at the keynote, despite Sharma’s failure to disclose what would be there. Three CMF products—the Watch Pro, Buds Pro, and a 65W GAN charger—had their marketing banners revealed to us through a significant leak around the end of August.
Particularly, Nothing’s first wristwatch will be the Watch Pro. According to the leak, the Watch Pro sports an aluminum alloy body, rounded edges similar to the Apple Watch, and an orange band. The display may feature a 1.96-inch AMOLED with support for always-on displays (AOD), 600 nits of brightness, and a 50Hz refresh rate, according to another report. Other rumored specifications include a 330mAh battery, a variety of health sensors, IP68 water and dust protection, a built-in GPS with Bluetooth 5.3, and more. The real sting is that Wear OS isn’t said to be supported by the Watch Pro.
Additionally, we anticipate that the Nothing Watch Pro, Buds Pro, and charger would cost Rs 4,500, Rs 3,500, and Rs 3,000, respectively. This would be $55 (Watch Pro), $43 (Buds Pro), and $37 (charger) in US dollars.
